Camping Information

Description The Federation schedules the Guides and Princess Programs to 3 campouts per program year in fall, winter, and spring at local YMCA camps in heated cabins with all meals provided. You attend on Saturday and return on Sunday. You usually can also go up on Friday Night for an additional fee. Activities include a variety of YMCA staff supervised activities, as well as tribe sponsored games with trophies awarded to winning tribes. Cost for returning members is $53.00 per person. 1st time campers is $43.00 per person.

The Federation also schedules camping for the Trailblazers and Trailmates Programs. They attend 3 campouts per program year. Fall and spring are in tents, usually at or around State Parks. The members usually leave on Friday Night and return on Sunday. Food is cooked by the group. Cost is $20-25 per person. The Winter campout is at a lodge or otherwise indoors.

Items to Bring Fall & Spring: Sleeping Bags, Pillows, Flashlights, Jackets, Rain Gear, Sweatshirts, Jammies, Slippers, Toiletries, Wash Cloths & Towels, Complete Change of Clothes, Boots (wet grass, mud), Shoes, Tribal Dress (Vests), Camera & Film. 

Winter, additional items: Snow Suits, Long Underware, Boots, Hats, Gloves (2 pairs), Scarves, Sleds, Inter tubes, Ropes & Clothespins, Extra Socks.
