Membership

Typical Program
Description
Tribe members typically meet once a month. Meetings are held in homes on a rotating basis, or at a local school, depending on the size of membership.

At the meetings, each child provides a "Scouting Report" and speaks to the tribe about what happened to them since the last meeting. Members take turns providing GAMES, CRAFTS, and SNACKS for everyone else in the tribe. Parents discuss upcoming events like campouts and prepare tribal property for use. Meetings usually last about an hour and a half.

The federation schedules each nation and the tribes within it to attend 3 indoor campouts each year (Fall, Winter, and Spring). Campouts start on Saturday morning and continue thru Sunday morning. Food and lodging are included. BOATING, HORSE BACK RIDING, HIKING, SWIMMING, ARCHERY, CLIMBING TOWER, GAMES, SONGS, SKITS or DANCES plus a CAMPFIRE are typically available. TOBOGGANING, SLEDDING, SKIING, and ICE SKATING are big attractions on Winter Campouts.

Other special activities scheduled by individial nations throughout the year include: Bowling, Pizza-Bingo, Holiday Parties, Pinewood Derbies, Roller Skating, Square Dances, Dinners, Movie Night, Xmas Caroling, End of the year Graduation and SlideShow,  etc..

At the end of the year (summer), there are local township PARADES to march in.
