| Purpose | It's a Known Fact that the "critical age"
of child development is in the early formative years, it is then
that they learn most of the habits and acquire many of the skills which
will carry them into adulthood.
Unfortunately, it is also the time when Dad and Mom are occupied with winning the "family bread" ... at a time when they are MOST NEEDED by their child(ren). The child needs to be loved, to be shown; the parents need to bring their influence to bear on their son/daughter. Big Waters Federation Indian Theme Programs set against the rich background of American folklore, specifically enable PARENTS and CHILDREN to discover each other through sharing and working together. You are encouraged to take an ACTIVE part in a program to enrich both your lives. Through participation in the many activities, you and your child will learn to come together as "Pals Forever" and "Friends Always". |
| Welcome | You and your child are welcome to visit a local club or tribe, and
spend quality time with each other and with other parents and their children,
while attending local games and implementing crafts.
You and your child are welcome to join the Big Waters Federation and spend quality time with each other and with other parents and their children at campouts and attend the many outdoor activities. |
